瓶蓋

所有瓶蓋均是以優質塑膠，再依精確尺碼鑄造而成，與瓶口百份百咬合而無隙。

方形及三角形螺旋牙

一般之廉價瓶為作節省成本，瓶蓋之螺旋牙是使用圓面牙，但Nalgene為了追求最佳之防漏效果而使用方形及三角形螺旋牙，使內外牙百份百咬合，全無空隙，因而大大減低洩漏之機會，雖然方形牙對模具精確度要求十分高，且製作工序亦較複雜，而使成本提高，但Nalgene認為仍是值得的。

瓶蓋防洩環

舊式的水瓶一般是會在瓶蓋內加入一塊軟墊，用作頂住瓶口作防洩之用，但在久用後這磈軟墊便會因長期受壓失去了彈性而出現洩漏，Nalgene棄用此舊方法，而是在瓶蓋內鑄有一斜面之圓環，其斜度與瓶口之內斜度精確吻合，在旋上瓶蓋時兩者自動接合，達至絕對防漏之效果，防漏效果極高之餘兼而持久耐用。
